This commercial grade tapered flagpole has a butt diameter of 3" and a top diameter of 1 7/8". The 6063-T6 aluminum tubing is 1/8" thick and is formed utilizing the industry's most sophisticated manufacturing processes. The thickness of this pole is twice the thickness of most lower priced sectional poles.
Wind speed rating of 118 MPH unflagged and 85 MPH flagged. If strength is an issue when you buy, ask the seller what the wind speed rating of their poles are. Only the US made commercial grade poles are normally wind rated.
Manufactured in three sections which allows the pole to be shipped by UPS or Fedex and saves over 50% in shipping costs without sacrificing quality, appearance or strength
Included is a 3'x5' nylon American flag with sewn stripes and embroidered stars. Flag is also made in the US.
Also included is a gold aluminum ball ornament, cast aluminum stationary truck w/pulley, solid braided polypropylene halyard (rope), cast aluminum cleat with mounting screws, two nickel plated swivel flag snaps and, as an extra bonus, two nylon flag snaps to attach a second flag, if desired.

Flag Size Recommended: 20' flagpoles are wind tested with a 3x5' flag and that is the size recommended by the manufacturer. If you increase the size to a 4x6' flag or fly two flags we recommend that you fly a 4'x6' flag by itself or fly a 3x5 flag along with a 2x3 second flag. It is important to remember that the additional wind load flying a larger than recommended size or by flying two flags reduces the strength of the pole. Customers must use their own best judgement to avoid wind damage in storms.
Shipping to the US - Shipping is free to 37 states. The other 13 states have a small shipping surcharge added to reflect the longer distances they have to be shipped. We ship this flagpole only by UPS ground and delivery is usually in 1-4 business days after the pole is ordered if ordered before 3pm Eastern time.
Shipping to Canada - We can ship this pole to Canada using only UPS Ground or DHL. Please call or email for the shipping charge to your province. Customer is responsible for any Canadian duties and taxes.
We normally keep these poles in stock and you can pick one up at our warehouse during normal business hours but please call first to check if we have the pole in stock at our warehouse. If we do not have it in stock we can have them shipped directly from the manufacturer. The box weighs 38 pounds and measures 8 feet long x 8 inches wide and 8 inches deep. Will fit easily in a pickup truck and we will load it for you..
