The first 4 options should be used if you are going to mount your pole to a wall, post, or any other location where the pole would be at approximately a 45 degree angle. This is the most popular way to display flags at residential and commercial locations.
The last option shown below should be used if you are going to display your poles on a stage, podium, or standing straight up on the floor of your business, school or church. Pole lengths for indoor displays should be at least 7' long for 3'x5' flags. Shorter sizes will let the flag drag on the ground.
